Itinerary
May 11 - Depart Chicago O’Hare Airport via Air France
May 12 & 13 - We will travel in Paris the next two day. We will take a cruise down the River Seine. Places we will see include Notre Dame, the L’Arc de Triomphe, Champs – Elysees, Eiffel Tower, & the Louvre. We will also visit The Shrine of the Miraculous Medal (Rue de Bac), St. Vincent de Paul, Our Lady of Victory and Sainte Chapelle. Also, Montmartre, the “Artist Quarter” and Sacre Coeur Basilica. Dinners & overnights.
May 14 - After breakfast depart for Lisieux, home of St. Therese, the Little Flower to visit the Sanctuary of Lisieux to venerate the remains of St. Therese and see the beautiful Basilica that includes the reliquary of Blessed Louis & Zelie Martin, the parents of Therese. We will also visit and pay our respects at the Normandy American Cemetery overlooking Omaha Beach where many American soldiers lost their lives on D-Day. Dinner & overnight.
May 15 - After breakfast transfer to St. Mont Michele. The Monastery was built and consecrated in 709 at the request of St. Michael the Archangel; currently the home of a monastic community. Afterwards depart for Pontmain where the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared in 1871 as our Lady of Hope during the Franco-Prussian War. Dinner & overnight.
May 16 - After breakfast travel to the Loire Valley to visit the Blois Chateaux built by King Louis XII and Francois I. We will then visit the Convent of St. Gildards and venerate the incorrupt body of St. Bernadette in Nevers. Dinner & overnight.
May 17 - After breakfast depart for Paray-le-Monial where Jesus exposed His Sacred Heart to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque during a series of apparitions asking her to spread devotion to His Sacred Heart. Afterwards depart for Ars to venerate the incorrupt body of St. John Vianney & continue on to to La Salette in the French Alps where in 1846 Blessed Mary appeared to two young shepherd children. Dinner & overnight.
May 18 - After breakfast, we will spend time in La Salette before departure for our Lady of Laus, where Our Lady appeared and gave healing oil. Afterwards transfer to Cotignac to visit where Our Lady appeared in 1519 to Jean de la Baume & St. Joseph appeared in 1660 to Gaspard Ricard. Dinner & overnight.
May 19 - We will travel to Lourdes to take part in the procession, dinner and overnight.
May 20 - After breakfast we will have a walking tour around the city to visit the grotto, Rosary Basilica, Bernadette’s home. Free time for private adoration. After dinner participate in the candlelight procession. Dinner & overnight.
May 21 - After breakfast we will travel to Rocamadour which is the home of the early Christian hermit, Zaccheus of Jericho who was married to St. Veronica, who wiped the face the Jesus on His Way of the Cross. The Shrine of Our Lady of Rocamadour is a place of miraculous conversion. Dinner & overnight.
May 22 - After breakfast we will depart for the airport in Paris and return to United
